For years, I thought The Odds was only about people coming home from prison.
But the longer I lived, the more I realized everybody is fighting some kind of odds.
Some people are fighting addiction. Some are fighting grief. Some are fighting bad decisions, broken trust, financial pressure, labels, family pain, fear, depression, or the feeling that they’ve fallen too far behind.
For me, the number was real: 1 out of 3 people released from prison return within three years. Only 45 days after my release, I was almost one of them. Not because I wanted to go back, but because life hit me before I had the legs under me to stand.
That moment became part of the reason I created The Odds.
This ain’t just a book about prison. It’s a book about becoming who you were created to be when life, people, pain, and your own decisions tried to convince you otherwise.
The Odds is a 90-day blueprint for people who know they were created for more but need a solid foundation, accountability, and a real process to start becoming again.
I wrote this from my own life, my failures, my setbacks, my lessons, and the system I still use to rebuild, refocus, and keep moving forward.
Every chapter gives you a story, a lesson, questions to ask yourself, and The ODDS Challenge.
This book was created to be read slowly, used honestly, and applied one day at a time.
